The following is my comment on the Quora post

Trudeau vows to stand up to Beijing for standing up to Canada which does not stand up to Trump (ceding its sovereign rights in USMCA article 32.10) and for Beijing standing up to Canada acting as Trump’s attack dog.
Trudeau excoriates Beijing for not following the “rule of law” of Western democracies, which Trudeau did not follow in the SNC Lavalin scandal, and which the president of the United States has been demonstrating to the world that he will never follow, unless the “rule of law” is now renamed the “Will of Trump,” or better still, the "Whim of Trump." 
While most US vassals are distancing themselves from these Trumpian policies, Trudeau has lost every vestige of self-respect and moral decency, and is now lying baldfaced from both sides of his mouth. Who would have thunk that the self-righteous little Trudeau is morphing into little Trump of Canada?
Justin’s father Pierre Trudeau went to China in 1960 on a fact finding trip, returning convinced that the West must shed its hypocrisy and try to understand China from China’s point of view. He wrote a book about his experience. Poor Pierre did not know that the legacy of his name would be hypocrisy incarnate.
